On Monday, January 19, 2026, Asst. Prof. Dr. Chonpassorn Sittivorongchai, Dean of the College of Innovation and Management, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, along with Asst. Prof. Dr. Panida Nilarun, Associate Dean for Research and Academic Services, and Ms. Sudarat Chirapruek, Research and Academic Services Officer, attended the preparatory meeting for the QS World University Rankings 2026. The event was organized by the Research and Development Institute at the University Council Meeting Room, 5th Floor, Building 31.

The session was officially opened by Associate Professor Dr. Chutikan Sriviboon, President of Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, featuring Mr. Thammanoon Nuamanong (Deputy Director of Chiang Mai University Office) as the keynote speaker. The program was divided into two main sessions:

• Morning Session: "Preparing SSRU for QS World University Rankings 2026: Directions, Policies, and Significance for University Development."
• Afternoon Session: "QS World University Rankings Criteria and the Role of Research in Elevating University Standards to Global Excellence."
